What is Jobbex JobSite?

Jobbex is a web based application that enables you to instantly deploy a fully functional advanced job board on your server. Jobbex can be used in setting up niche Job Boards for specific industries, regional Job Sites or general Job Site

What are the minimum system requirements for Jobbex JobSite, and do we need a dedicated server?

The minimum system requirements are a Windows machine running IIS 5.0+ and Cold fusion Server MX. For the database you will need a minimun of 50MB of SQL Server Database space.

You do not need a dedicated server to run Jobbex. You can run Jobbex on a shared server account with any web hosting company that meets the minimum system requirements above.

How long does it take to setup my Job Site?

In most cases your Job Site can be setup usually with 1-2 business days, excluding customizations and site integration.

What databases can the application run on?

Jobbex had been successfully tested on SQL Server 2000/2005 databases. Jobbex comes with scripts to create the SQL Server database and work with SQL Server databases which is recommended over Access.

Do I need any technical background to setup/administer Jobbex?

No. Administering Jobbex is done through the web-based Administrator module. Installing Jobbex is done in only 30-45 minutes, you can either install it yourself or have us install it for you free of charge.

Can I charge employers for posting jobs and viewing resumes?

Yes. With Jobbex e-Commerce edition, you can charge employers for posting jobs, renewing jobs and access to the resume database. You may also setup multiple flat-fee memberships for employers or Job Packages.

You may also run this as a free service. This can all be setup easily from the web based administrator sections.

Which credit card processor does the application use?

Jobbex e-Commerce edition by default is compatible with Authorize.net for processing credit cards in real-time. However other payment gateways have been integrated with Jobbex depending on your requirements.

We are based outside the United States, can we still bill employers using credit cards in real-time?

Yes. Jobbex e-Commerce edition is also compatible with Planet Payment billing services which allows companies outside the USA to bill customers using credit cards in real-time. If you prefer to integrate a different payment gateway provider local to your region, we can integrate usually most other payment gateway systems for a fee.

How can I get a merchant account to process credit cards for billing employers?

In most cases, you would be able to apply for a merchant account and be registered with a payment gateway within 2-5 business days, this process is done by a third party bank. Please contact us for more information and details.

Do I need a secure site to use Credit Cards?

This is highly recommended. Having a secure site enables employers to enter their credit card information on your job site and have it securely transmitted and processed in real-time. To apply for a secure site you may obtain a certificate from InstantSSL or Thawte or your preferred security certificate provider. Application for an SSL Certificate is usually done through your web hosting provider.

Can I modify the header and footer to integrate my site's 'look and feel'?

Yes. You can easily integrate any site's 'look and feel' by modifying the 2 files. A header and footer file which are global throughout the application.

Is there an International version to allow employers outside the United States to use the application?

Yes. Jobbex can work to accomodate International locations to allow clients to use the application with only one country or multiple countries outside the United States.

Can I upgrade my Jobbex Standard edition to e-Commerce later?

Yes. You may upgrade your Jobbex Standard edition to e-Commerce at anytime by paying the difference in price plus a small administrative fee.

Documentation, application scripts, SQL Server database, 30 days of support and training, one-time FREE installation.
